We are seeking a highly skilled and fluent Mandarin-English translator to support our operations in Cikande, Banten. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading international company in the steel and engineering industry. As a Mandarin Translator at Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between our Chinese and international teams, ensuring smooth and accurate translations for all project documents, meetings, and other business activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex technical documents, conducting real-time translations for meetings, and providing language support for our clients and partners. You will work closely with our international teams to ensure that all communication is clear, accurate, and culturally appropriate. This is a full-time contract position offering a competitive salary of IDR 8,000,000 - 12,000,000 per month.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Translate complex technical documents, including project proposals, contracts, and reports, from Mandarin to English and vice versa.
• Conduct real-time translations for meetings, interviews, and other business activities.
• Provide language support for our clients and partners, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
• Collaborate with our international teams to ensure that all communication is culturally appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all translations and language support provided.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the steel and engineering sector.
• Assist in the development and implementation of language training programs for our employees.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of translation and language support strategies.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with a minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field.
• Certification in Mandarin-English translation from a recognized institution is a plus.
• Experience working in an international environment, preferably in the steel and engineering industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Proficiency in using translation software, such as Trados, SDL Trados Studio, or MemoQ.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
